The Senior Payroll Administrator is responsible for processing U.S. weekly and biweekly payrolls and compiling payroll data to maintain accurate and compliant payroll records.
Requirements:
Processes U.S. weekly and biweekly payrolls; conducts audits to ensure accuracy and minimize off cycle payrolls.
Updates employee payroll records to reflect new hires terminations and other employment changes affecting payroll.
Ensures all payroll transactions comply with internal policies and relevant federal state and local laws.
Prepares and processes overtime adjustments at the close of each accounting period.
Reviews timecards for approvals coding issues and other potential errors.
Monitors ADP payroll reports and alerts the Payroll Clerk or HR to any issues.
Reconciles payroll and maintains complete and accurate payroll records.
Processes payroll adjustments including PTO sick leave and other time off.
Sets up employees time and attendance policies.
Reviews employees tax setup.
Maintains knowledge of payroll laws and compliance requirements.
Responds to payroll inquiries and resolves discrepancies.
Participates in problem-solving and special projects within the payroll team.

Skills and Experience:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications Excel preferred
Experience with Human Resources Information Systems
2 years payroll experience required
Experience with ADP software preferred
Education:
GED Required; Bachelors Degree preferred
FPC preferred and/or combination of experience and certification
