Job Summary:
This position is responsible for coordinating all contracting functions for new and existing ASB agents. The Insurance Agent Support role is responsible for providing carrier contracting support to insurance agents.
Primary Responsibilities:
Implement new contracting forms to SureLC or the internal portal (Dashboard) when an additional carrier is added or when an existing carrier revises their forms. This includes all ancillary duties of working with SureLC contact to activate the hierarchy pages templates etc.
On a daily basis work new contracting requests as received. This means that as a new or existing agent requests contracts in SURELC and Dashboard contracting tool the contracting requests are (1) processed and submitted to the carrier or (2) the agent the agents Regional Sales Manager and the Regional Sales Managers administrator are notified of missing requirements.
On a daily basis answer agent phone and Email inquiries regarding contracting status.
On a daily basis work with carriers to obtain any missing requirements for contracts that were submitted with missing information or documents. This could include contacting the agent the agents Regional Sales Manager and the Regional Sales Managers administrator to obtain the missing information or documents.
On a daily basis will act as a liaison between the agent and carrier. If all the requirements have been met then the processor will submit the contracts to the carriers.
Run weekly reports to incorporate writing numbers into the system.
Act as a subject matter expert for contracting and onboarding.
On an as needed basis and as requested notify applicable carriers when an existing agent wants to add an additional state appointment.
On an as needed basis process and notify all applicable carriers of agent hierarchy changes.
Proven to be highly dependable and a self-motivator.
Must work independently with sound organization skills.
Must possess strong people and problem-solving skills and be able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
Insurance industry experience is preferred but not required.
Good understanding of general office procedures processes and equipment.
Prefer a minimum education of a four-year undergraduate college degree or the equivalent in experience.
Ability to manage a variety of tasks and set priorities to meet often stressful deadlines; while keeping goals objectives priorities and timelines in perspective.
Ability to work as a team player at all times while following team concepts in supporting Agency goals and co-workers.
Ability to work and resolve issues independently.

Strong organizational skills
Above average computer skills: knowledge of Adobe Acrobat the Microsoft Office suite with emphasis on excel and internet required.
High school level education required.
Customer service and phone skills required.
