Job Description
Oxford Public Schools is seeking an Elementary Art Teacher for Quaker Farms School (PreK-2) beginning in the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate will work under the general supervisions of the School Administrator to facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills.
* Must hold current CT Certification (042)
* Ability to provide general art instruction implement the elementary art curriculum and utilize classroom routines and procedures with consistency
* Experience with elementary school students
* Experience adapting instruction to meet the needs of all students
* Responsible for creating a positive and safe learning environment establishing rapport with students parents and colleagues; motivating students to develop attitudes and knowledge that will help them reach their fullest potential
Follows the OEA Labor Agreement
