Primary Purpose:
To provide for the delivery of technical assistance and professional development in the design development implementation and evaluation of activities in the non-academic needs of the student support framework implemented by the Texas Center for Student Supports. This is a grant-funded position tied to the current TCSS grant and is expected to last for one (1) year. Continued employment beyond this period is not guaranteed but may be reviewed depending on future funding and programmatic needs.

Education/Certification
- Masters degree required
- Texas mid-management certification required
- Counseling certification required
- Texas teaching certification required
- ESC experience preferred
- Knowledge and experience with TCSS preferred
Skills
- Principal experience preferred
- Assistant principal experience preferred
- Proven experience in leading and coaching adults
- Experience in developing and implementing professional development for statewide meetings and conferences
- Exhibits the ability to be a team member and is service-oriented

Working Conditions:
- Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals
- Posture: Must be physically able to tolerate prolonged sitting frequent standing; occasional bending/stooping pushing/pulling twisting and standing
- Motion: Must be physically able to tolerate frequent standing and walking repetitive hand motions frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching occasional driving

- Regular attendance and availability during standard ESC business hours (e.g. 8:00 AM 5:00 PM) is required for remote employees.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Serves as a valued team member of the Texas Center for Student Support Team.
- Meets online with the coordinator once a week to plan discuss work progress and review results regarding priorities.
- Participates in monthly collaboration coaching and mentorship with ESC leads.
- Provides ongoing support for LEAs and ESCs in the student support framework.
- Collaborates with all vendors and stakeholders involved in the TCSS.
- Assists SCTAC lead in developing and monitoring comprehensive project workflows and supporting reporting for SCTAC LEAs and ESCs.
- Leads in the development and implementation of a Fidelity of Implementation (FOI) cadence for LEAs and ESCs.
- Utilizes content and pedagogical expertise to design engaging professional development and provides coaching modeling and implementation feedback to ESC leads district-level staff and campus-level staff.
- Supports long-term planning and project management adult learning principles and the design and delivery of professional development.
- Assists in the development and launch of SCTAC program components including recruitment selection and marketing.
- Supports the creation refinement and evaluation of SSF training modules and toolkits aligned with grant deliverables.
- Assists in facilitating TCSS level-set training into Canvas and in creating certification pathways.
- Leads and manages statewide focus groups for students and parents on bullying interventions both in person and virtually.
- Serves as an executive coach (after certification) to new LEAs coming on board in early 2026 alongside ESC leads supporting campus goals and systems-level change.
- Works primarily with ESC leads to increase knowledge of the SSF framework and to build capacity for data analysis team development and non-academic systems support.
- Adheres to Region 16 Remote Workplace Program guidelines by being accessible during work hours maintaining a professional virtual presence managing a current digital calendar and complying with all related policies (e.g. attendance confidentiality communication).
- Is available as a remote employee during regular office hours to serve clients across the state of Texas.
- Attends required meetings conferences and trainings; participates in state and regional representative meetings; and presents to stakeholders as necessary.
- Proactively seeks resources information and learning needed for TCSS growth in assigned content areas.
- Attends prioritizes and protects all required TCSS activities; provides timely communication to team members and all directly responsible individuals (DRIs).
- Sets modifies and pursues short- and long-term professional goals demonstrating persistence initiative and responsiveness to feedback.
- Reports for work ready to perform responsibilities.
- Maintains a professional level of confidentiality regarding all ESC matters.
- Supports the mission goals and objectives of the ESC strategic plan.

- Performs professional responsibilities as required by ESC policies processes and procedures.
- Manages time calendar and job responsibilities to meet deadlines.
- Meets required technology proficiency levels and integrates appropriate tools into daily work demonstrating continual growth.
- Maintains a functioning cell phone and is accessible through it as deemed appropriate by the service area director. A functioning phone means charged activated with messages checked and mailbox maintained.
- Travels as necessary as part of job responsibilities.
- Incorporates appropriate technology in daily work and demonstrates continual learning in its application.
