Summary:

Responsible for ensuring that production operations are performed on-time while adhering to high standards of quality safety and customer service. Also assists with training Operators on production duties and updating and maintaining production SOPs.

Job Responsibilities:

Education Experience and Skills:

  • Champion (Owner) all CAPA (Corrective Actions / Preventative action to eliminate deficiencies in current processes and investigations and document through Devonway and provide all CAs to QA.
  • Owner of creating delivering and documenting Production related training
  • Champion the management of Production Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions
  • Lead investigating customer complaints and coordinate across all departments.
  • Drive internal quality investigations coordinating with production and quality
  • Champion updating the site daily/weekly auditing process (Kamishibai process)
  • Facilitate training for Corrective Actions to the workforce.
  • Champion onboarding of new hires. Coordinating and tracking material inventory and performing inventory counts make inventory transfers in JDE.
  • Create POs in JDE for necessary purchases.
  • Create future procedures as needed to fix root causes
  • Set up new items and make inventory re-classes in JDE.
  • Recommend and participate in developing or approving process changes.
  • Complete work orders in JDE.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe facility.
  • Relief of supervisors as necessary to cover vacancies due to vacation or illness.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • Associate degree with 5 years of manufacturing experience or 8 years of experience in manufacturing with high school/GED diploma.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

May occasionally oversee the work of associates being trained in Production. Must be comfortable giving feedback to production associates on proper work techniques safety procedures etc.

Work Environment:

Works in a manufacturing environment and may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The associate is exposed to moving mechanical parts risk of electrical shock and trip and slip hazards. The noise level in the manufacturing environment is loud.

Physical Demands:

  • May be required to lift up to 50 pounds
  • May be required to stand for long periods and walk great distances daily
  • Routinely required to use hands to finger handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • May be required to sit climb balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl and talk or hear
  • May be required to work in small spaces and high locations
