About the role
Reporting to the CFO and working closely with the Finance Officer you will be responsible for assisting with accounting functions in the firm including but not limited to:
accounts receivable including preparation of the bank reconciliations
electronic fund transfers
receipting
disbursements
trust accounts
controlled money accounts including set up transfers interest calculations and closures
bank and general ledger reconciliations
month-end tasks and reporting
general accounts queries.
There is scope for growth in the role working within a supportive team.
About you
The person we are looking for will have undertaken accounts payable and receivable tasks in previous roles and may have even been exposed to other accounting functions. Experience in trust accounting would be highly regarded.
You will have 2 years accounts experience ideally in a professional services environment and be confident working in accounting software packages including Salesforce Xero and Excel.
Your communication skills and eye for detail coupled with your ability to organise work within a team and time manage will ensure success.
