Raytheon is looking for an experienced Material Program Manager (MPM) to work on programs in the Air Force portfolio in EO/IR MPM is the material focal for the program directly accountable for ensuring overall supply chain MPM must be a self-starter capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives and be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal and supplier management.

What You Will Do

  • Manage material risks and opportunities reporting at both Customer and program level
  • Develop and executing supply chain strategies and plans
  • Create manage and execute material program strategy (MPS) and the material program plan (MPP)
  • Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support for Gates 0-11 activities and ensure compliance with the programs and make adjustments when needed
  • Have overall ownership of the supplier management process including supplier performance SCM metrics Make/Buy Where strategy strategic agreements and communication of customer flow through requirements such as FAR/DFARS ITAR offset public law quality warranty etc.
  • Develop and leading supply chain proposal activities including task descriptions and basis of estimates.
  • Develop and executing risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives.
  • Identify and developing opportunities for small business participation
  • Monitor and proactively address performance and financial metrics including those related to cost schedule quality and EVMS.
  • Develop and track budgets and targets
  • Initiate and maintain accurate sales forecasts short-range outlooks (SRO) material EACs sales and operating Plans and Annual Operating Plans (AOP)
  • Act as the Control Account Manager (CAM) for material
  • Flow down Supplier Management Best Practices to suppliers which include risk mitigation and subcontract management plans.
  • Translate customer terms and conditions into supplier requirements and reviewing statements of work for completeness and conformance to program requirements

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelors and a minimum of five (5) years prior relevant experience or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of three (3) years experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Minimum three (3) years experience in a supply chain program/project management government property material planning and/or material strategy role.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience managing suppliers
  • Experience using SAP/PRISM
  • Supply chain and related systems procurement MRP receiving cost estimating and finance.
  • Experience with material pricing/estimating and proposals.
  • Managing technical requirements to a schedule and budget

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
