Job Description

My client is expanding our in-business Risk and Reporting control function to support the growth of our high-frequency algorithmic trading desks across crypto spot derivatives and volatility strategies.

As a Risk Associate youll work directly with traders and quants overseeing real-time market exposure P&L and risk metrics. This is a front-row seat to one of the fastest-moving environments in finance.

Responsibilities:

  • Own daily P&L and risk monitoring with insightful commentary to traders and leadership

  • Build automated dashboards and scripts to track positions limits and risk breaches in real-time

  • Conduct VaR stress testing scenario analysis and liquidity risk reviews

  • Draft and maintain risk frameworks for new and existing crypto trading products

  • Collaborate across Trading Quant Finance and Compliance to strengthen our risk control environment

Qualifications:
  • 3 years in Market Risk Product Control or Model Validation preferably with exposure to trading desks

  • Strong working knowledge of Python and SQL you love to automate and analyze

  • Familiarity with crypto or traditional derivatives products (spot futures options)

  • Quantitative degree (Math Finance Engineering). FRM/CQF/CFA a plus

  • Detail-oriented and hands-on you take ownership from problem to solution
