Job Description
ABOUT US:
POSITION OVERVIEW:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Journeyman trades certificate (preferably welding or pipe fitting)
- 2 years of experience in pressure welding/fitting is preferred
- B-Pressure Certificate
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset
- Ability to pass a pre-employment functional alcohol and drug
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI):
Welding
- Perform B-pressure welding tasks including socket welds in accordance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints layouts and technical drawings to ensure precise fabrication and welding of pressure vessels.
- Utilize welding processes including SMAW GMAW FCAW and GTAW for various welding tasks.
- Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues to ensure seamless production.
- Continuously improve welding techniques and processes to increase productivity and quality.
Safety
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Rig materials and equipment utilizing overhead and jib cranes safely and effectively.
- Participate in safety and company programs to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient assembly operations and quality control
- Engage in project reviews with engineering and drafting teams to align on technical specifications and timelines
