The Opportunity
Were looking for a technically strong and commercially mindedSenior Accountantto join ourFunds Finance teamon afixed-term contract. Based inMelbourne(preferred) orSydney this role supports the delivery of financial reporting tax and compliance activities for high-profile industrial funds. Youll work closely with Fund and Portfolio Managers contributing to process improvement stakeholder engagement and the smooth operation of a well-established portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver monthly financial reporting tax compliance fund distributions and owner reporting.
- Ensure timely completion of all regulatory and compliance obligations.
- Partner with Fund and Portfolio Managers to support fund-level financials cashflow and capital management.
- Drive process improvement and automation across finance operations.
- Coordinate across finance functions and specialist teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Support audit processes and contribute to maintaining a best-in-class finance structure.
About You
Youre a collaborative and dependable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. With a strong work ethic and a proactive mindset you bring clarity structure and integrity to everything you do. Youre confident working with stakeholders solving problems and contributing to continuous improvement.
- CA/CPA qualification and 35 years experience in accounting or fund finance
- Experience preparing statutory financial reports under Australian standards and IFRS
- Exposure to property or funds management including tax and distributions very highly regarded
- Familiarity with trust/mandate structures and governing documents
- Experience with financial systems such as Yardi TM1 or Workiva (preferred)
