Job Summary
Inova Physical Therapy Center in Arlington (Ballston) is looking for Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) to join our outstanding team. This position is full-time Day Shifts - (40 hrs/ week) - Monday- Friday and two evening shifts per week until 7:00pm. We offer 1:1 patient treatment model a formal mentorship program and a commitment to continuing education and personal growth.

Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant 1 Job Responsibilities:
- The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant 1 adheres to department policies regarding time frame appropriate form and content of written rehabilitation documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients family medical staff care team members students supervisors and outside contacts.
- Completes all administrative and other responsibilities in support of the operating unit.
- Demonstrates essential skill in the use of treatment modalities equipment and protocols.
- Performs reassessments according to state and facility guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Associate degree from a licensed physical therapy assistant program.
- Experience: Graduate of a licensed physical therapy assistant program new graduate of a licensed physical therapy assistant program
- Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start.
- Licensed: VA License Physical Therapy Assistant required upon start
