Job Description
We are seeking a Transport Refrigeration Technician with Thermo King or Carrier experience for a direct hire opportunity with our client.
Location:Apopka FL
Salary:$34.00 - $48.00 per hour (based on experience)
Benefits:Full benefits package including PTO Medical Dental Life Insurance and 401k.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting maintenance and repair of Carrier and Thermo King Reefers and auxiliary power units (APUs).
- Positive interface with service writers leadership team parts department drivers vendors and customers.
- Keep paperwork updated and submitted upon completion.
- Work safely and follow company safety standards.
- Perform various other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- 608 EPA Certification (required).
- Must have your own set of general tools.
- Able to read electric & refrigeration schematics.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Prompt and reliable employee.
- 1-2 years of mechanical experience preferred but not required.
- Effective communicator and team player.
- Physical activities include walking lifting more than 20 lbs. twisting turning and climbing ladders.
- Able to pass a drug test.
