Job Description
The University of Chicagos Department of Medicine Section of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine is searching for full-time faculty members at the rank of Assistant Professor. The appointees will provide patient care in the pulmonary outpatient clinic at one or more of UCMs off-site clinics which can include UCM Ingalls/Flossmoor or Orland Park locations as well as provide clinical coverage on the pulmonary consult and inpatient critical care units at UCM Ingalls Memorial Hospital and procedure services including interventional pulmonary. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications. Prior to the start of employment qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois 3) be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and 4) have Interventional Pulmonary training.
