Job Description
Respiratory Therapist (Contract Role) Job Details:
- Location: Concord NH 03301
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12hr Nights 6:45PM - 7:15 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $1800 - $1944
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments techniques and procedures as prescribed by a physician.
- Monitor patient responses to therapy and make necessary adjustments.
- Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and pulmonary function testing.
- Manage mechanical ventilation for critically ill patients.
- Educate patients and family members on respiratory care and disease management.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
- Document all therapy and assessments accurately in the EMR system (Cerner preferred).
- Ensure equipment is clean functional and properly maintained.
- Adhere to infection control and safety procedures.
- License: Active New Hampshire Respiratory Care Practitioner License
- Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
- Experience: Minimum 1 yr experience in an acute care setting OR experience is preferable and documents travel experience.
- EMR: Cerner experience preferred but not required
- Locals accepted-local pay rates will apply to candidates residing within a 50-mile radius.
- Traveler Status: First-time travelers welcome.
