TAX - Programmer / Analyst 2
This is an onsite/hybrid position requiring minimally three days per week in office
Parking is NOT provided for contractors
Pls note: Initial interviews will be Virtual but manager reserves the option to set up a follow up IN PERSON if they believe it is necessary. Pls make sure your candidate is aware and has no issues with coming on site for a follow up IV if requested.
Resources is needed to implement new tax types such as Corp Income Tax and other miscellaneous taxes into VFACT. The resource will also work on the integration of VFACT with the replacement of IRMS for existing taxes such as Sales Withholding and etc. This contractor will work under the direction of the VFACT Application Manager. Required/Desired Skills Skill Required /Desired Amount of Exp in yrs Consultant Last Used Proficient with Angular Required 3 SQL and Oracle Database Required 3 Knowledge of REST API Required 2 Experience and understanding Tax Audit Audit work Process Highly desired 2 Experience and understanding Virginia Tax Tax Administration process Highly desired 2 Questions No. Question Consultant Answer Question1 Commonwealth of Virginia security policies prohibit the use of offshore IT contractors. ABOUT THE ROLE
Virginia Tax seeks an individual to continuously enhance and build new features for the Virginia Field Audit Compliance Tool (VFACT). This is a custom build that will track audit activities and caseloads conducted by Tax Field Auditors using the VFACT system.Resources is needed to implement new tax types such as Corp Income Tax and other miscellaneous taxes into VFACT.
