Job Description

Position: Technical Business Analyst Fixed Income Trading
Location: New York City NY (Onsite)
Position Type: Long Term Contract
Job Overview:
We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in the Capital Markets domain particularly in Fixed Income Trading systems. This role requires close interaction with traders and development teams to gather requirements support trading systems and ensure smooth operations on the trading floor.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with traders and other business users to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Coordinate with development and QA teams to implement new features or enhancements.
Perform system testing UAT coordination and post-deployment validations.
Troubleshoot and resolve any system issues or data inconsistencies reported by business users.
Document workflows system behaviors and user guides.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of Fixed Income products (e.g. bonds treasuries etc.)
Prior experience working on trading platforms or order management systems.
Solid understanding of capital markets and front-office operations.
Proficiency in Excel basic SQL (preferred) and documentation tools.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure trading environment.
