Duration: Long Term Contract
Location: Baltimore MD Hybrid - 21213
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making and system integration efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Power BI SQL Excel and Power Automate with experience in data migration and integration between systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements analyze large datasets automate data workflows and develop insightful reports and dashboards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze clean and transform data from multiple sources to support business objectives.
- Combine migrate and integrate data between two systems as part of an enterprise-level project.
- Develop publish and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI to provide actionable insights.
- Create detailed reports and visualizations in Excel and PowerPoint to communicate findings to business stakeholders.
- Automate data flows and business processes using Power Automate; assist in streamlining repetitive tasks.
- Collaborate with system and business analysts to assess data quality system performance and user requirements.
- Conduct system analytics to understand underlying data patterns and recommend process improvements.
- Utilize SQL to query databases extract relevant datasets and support ad hoc analysis.
- (Preferred) Use Python for advanced data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- (Preferred) Support light development or integration using Power Apps.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Power BI creating dashboards DAX functions and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in SQL writing queries joining tables and optimizing data retrieval.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel formulas pivot tables VLOOKUP data validation.
- Experience using Power Automate to build workflow automation and task scheduling.
- Strong data analytics and problem-solving capabilities; attention to detail.
- Experience in data migration data mapping and system-to-system integration.
- Ability to create clear concise documentation and professional business reports.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to work in cross-functional and hybrid team environments.
- Bachelors degree in Data Science Information Systems Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Power Apps for low-code application development.
- Experience with Python for data analysis or automation.
- Prior experience working on large-scale data transformation or ERP implementation projects.
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices.
