Job Description
- Develop and deliver executive summary reports that highlight key metrics trends and data-driven recommendations.
- Create and maintain compliance reports with normalized and accurate data representation.
- Reconcile and validate project-related data to ensure its availability and accuracy in DOE systems.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to perform data audits and ensure integrity across DIIT infrastructure and associated platforms.
- Gather and interpret stakeholder requirements for custom reporting and analytics.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing data analysis workflows and reporting structures.
- Automate recurring reports and data processes to increase operational efficiency.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures to validate data accuracy.
- Detect and resolve discrepancies inconsistencies or anomalies in datasets.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of data sources methodologies assumptions and processing logic.
- Ensure transparency and reproducibility in all analytical processes.
- Collaborate with internal DIIT teams DOE departments and executives to support data initiatives.
- Contribute to the smooth execution of interdepartmental projects involving data collection and analysis.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in data analytics business intelligence or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in client-facing or customer service environments demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel SQL Power BI Tableau or similar platforms.
- Experience with large datasets data cleansing and normalization processes.
- Familiarity with data management systems and reporting software.
- Ability to automate data tasks and build recurring report pipelines.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail and process orientation.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Capability to work independently and in a team environment.
