Role Responsibilities:
- Assist the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily operations of the front office.
- Supervise and train front office staff to ensure excellent customer service.
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures to ensure a smooth process.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Prepare reports on front office operations and prepare recommendations for improvement.
- Implement front office policies and procedures for staff compliance.
- Assist in budget and forecasting operations for the front office.
- Monitor and analyze front office performance metrics.
- Assist in managing staff schedules and coverage for the front office.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety policies within the front office area.
- Provide training and support to new employees in their roles.
- Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among front office staff.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a front desk manager or assistant manager in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of front office operations and guest service standards.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in using hotel management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism.
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial management in hospitality.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Bachelor s degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in front office operations.
- High level of customer service orientation.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability.
