We are hiring a CNM2 /Clinical Nurse Specialist Radiotherapy for a Hospital in Galway Ireland.
This role is on a permanent part time basis working 20 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- The development and provision of nursing services in the radiotherapy department will be coordinated managed and led by the Clinical Nurse Manager 2/Clinical Nurse Specialist.
- Clinical and professional leadership within the nursing team will be the main responsibility of the Clinical Nurse Manager 2/Clinical Nurse Specialist. Through the integration coordination and management of activities and resources within the clinical area
- Exhibit a high level of ability and competency to support the efficient effective and supportive treatment of patients.
- Candidate will be essential in educating patients and their families about their treatment plan care plan any side effects and how to manage them.
Requirements
- Current NMBI general registration in the General Division
- Preferable qualifications include a bachelors degree managerial training and/or postgraduate training in radiotherapy or oncology.
- 5 years of nursing experience overall including 2-3 years of experience in radiotherapy oncology or a similar field
- Possess demonstrated managerial clinical leadership and customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Proactive planning with efficient resource coordination
