We are delivering Australia s largest-ever infrastructure program $57.5 billion of projects that shape the future of how people and goods move. As a Project Development Manager you ll play a pivotal role in scoping and developing major infrastructure projects that support customer-centric sustainable and innovative transport solutions across NSW.
You will be responsible for leading the early-stage planning and development of complex transport infrastructure projects. This includes managing investigations stakeholder consultations environmental assessments and scoping to ensure feasibility sustainability and alignment with broader government goals.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading project scoping concept design and feasibility activities.
Coordinating stakeholder engagement and community consultation.
Developing business cases funding proposals and environmental assessments.
Managing relationships across government agencies and private stakeholders.
Advising senior leaders and contributing to project approvals and reporting.
To be successful in this role you will need:
Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering Project Management or a related discipline.
Extensive experience in infrastructure project development ideally within government or regulated sectors.
Proven capability in managing multidisciplinary teams business cases and strategic design processes.
Strong ability to communicate complex information to diverse stakeholders and manage community engagement processes.
Experience with environmental and risk assessments funding submissions and design review processes.
