Job Description
We believe that a great cup of coffee and a warm smile can brighten anyones day. Were more than just a caf were a community hub a space for connection and a team that supports and looks out for each other. Were now looking for a part-time Caf Assistant for our Boulcott Village who shares our love for people and hospitality.
Youll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth running of our caf. From making great coffee to creating tasty cabinet food and light meals youll help make our caf a warm and welcoming place for residents their families and visitors.
This position is 24 hours per week working Friday to Monday 9:30am to 4:00pm.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Preparing presenting and serving food and drinks to a high standard
- Providing outstanding barista services
- Assisting with catering for village events and resident functions
- Handling cash and reconciling daily takings
Youll work closely with the Chef Manager Caf Supervisor and wider village team to deliver a caf experience thats welcoming consistent and genuinely enjoyable.
Qualifications :
You will bring a warm and positive approach to everything you do along with:
- Previous hospitality or caf experience
- Superb barista skills and confidence making coffee
- A warm friendly personality with great customer service skills
- Excellent communication and the ability to multitask
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
