Raffles the Red Sea located in the beautiful coastal city of Umluj Saudi Arabia is seeking a visionary and experienced Director of Housekeeping to join our luxury hospitality team. As the Director of Housekeeping you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the housekeeping department ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our world-class resort.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance housekeeping operations and guest experience
- Lead mentor and motivate a large team of housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service
- Establish and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the property
- Manage departmental budgets inventory and expenses to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction
- Implement and monitor quality control systems to maintain consistency in service delivery
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative housekeeping practices
- Ensure compliance with all health safety and environmental regulations
- Handle guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally
- Participate in executive committee meetings and contribute to overall hotel management strategies
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in housekeeping management preferably in luxury hotels or resorts
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management
- In-depth knowledge of housekeeping operations standards and best practices
- Experience with hotel management software and technology
- Understanding of Middle Eastern hospitality standards and cultural awareness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Additional certifications in hospitality management are preferred
