Job Description

We are seeking a talented and MA certified English Language Arts teacher who will thrive in our collaborative ELA Department. The successful candidate will have a commitment to the success of every student along with the skills and desire to teach a diverse set of learners. Qualified candidates must exhibit knowledge/experience in:* MA ELA frameworks and current pedagogy in ELA instruction including planning delivering instruction and assessing active learning experiences to address learning targets* utilizing differentiated instructional and assessment methods to support the learning needs of students at varying levels of progressAdditionally the successful candidate will:* contribute to the on-going goals of the English Department* engage in collaborative work practices to positively impact student learning outcomes* participate in professional development and Professional Learning Communities to support a smooth transition to our new school AP experience a plus Special education experience and/or certification a plus Co-teaching experience or a willingness to co-teach a plus SEI Endorsement a plus
