Job Description
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- High school diploma or GED
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Ability to work well with middle school-age children
- Knowledge of general technology use - Chromebooks and interactive boards
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are needed
Description:
- The Instructional Aide supports the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality instruction and provides direct assistance to students under the supervision of certified staff. The aide plays a vital role in reinforcing learning supervising students and helping to maintain a safe structured and supportive classroom environment.
- Supports across the campus with duties and coverage in classrooms
EXPERIENCE:
- Prefer experience working with children (i.e.: as a substitute teacher as a teachers aide or as a day care worker)
