Job Description

The San Diego Unified School District is currently accepting applications for the position of Community Schools - Site Program Coordinator. This opportunity is open to all interested candidates.

This recruitment will be used to establish an Eligibility List for the current vacancy shown belowas well as any future vacancies. This list will be activeforthree (3) monthswith the possibility to be extended.

BASIC FUNCTION:

Under the guidance and oversight of the District Community Schools Coordinator independently perform and accomplish highly technical administrative and staff duties related to the coordination and participation in collaborative leadership with their assigned community school administrators and school teams in the establishment and development of the Community Schools program pillars and structures; lead the work of identified staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

Any combination of training experience and/or education equivalent to: An Associates degree from an accredited institution in communications social services education school counseling or a related field and five (5) years of recent progressively responsible related experience working with students and families in the TK-12 educational system or with organizations that serve school communities.

Experience in the establishment of community partnerships to support the development of comprehensive school systems and structures is highly preferred.

NOTE: Your related education and experience must be clearly represented in the work history and education section of your application.

Somepositions requireapplicants to pass additional components which may include one or more of the following: amultiple-choice oral written or performance exam specific to the position. NOTE: Most exams areconducted remotely utilizing an online testing platform. For these exams access to the internet and the use of a camera-ready desktop/laptop with a microphone is required to participate in these processes.
