At American Leak Detection the Client Services Coordinator plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our residential commercial and municipal clients throughout Western Washington. Currently this is primarily a remote position with occasional in-office work (approximately once or twice a week) to assist with administrative or operational tasks with the possibility of returning to a full-in-office position at any time.
Responsibilities include answering customer inquiries scheduling appointments efficiently and coordinating the daily dispatch and routing of our field technicians. The ideal candidate is highly organized customer-focused and able to thrive in a fast-paced service environment.

Job Requirements:
1. Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Clear phone etiquette and ability to explain technical services in a simple way

- Experience handling incoming and outgoing calls
- Ability to schedule appointments dispatch technicians and follow up with customers
- Patience and problem-solving ability when handling complaints or urgent situations (water damage emergencies)
3. Organizational Skills
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Ability to track jobs update service records and maintain accurate customer information
4. Industry Knowledge (Preferred but not required)
- Basic understanding of plumbing or leak detection terminology
- Knowledge of services such as slab leak detection swimming pools or water intrusion testing
- Familiarity with dispatching software and Salesforce
5. Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
- Comfortable using scheduling platforms email and data entry tools
6. Professional Qualities
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction
7. Experience & Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Prior experience in a service-based or construction-related industry is a plus
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience (preferred)
As part of your employment there will be a three-month trial (or probationary) period. This period allows both you and the company to assess whether the role is a good fit. During this time your performance attendance attitude and ability to meet the expectations of the position will be closely monitored and evaluated.
At the end of the trial period one of the following may occur:
- Successful Completion If everything goes well your position will be confirmed and you will continue as a regular employee.
- Extension of the Trial Period If additional time is needed to evaluate your performance the trial may be extended with feedback provided on areas needing improvement.
- Termination If it is determined that the role is not the right fit the employment relationship may be ended during or at the conclusion of the trial period.
