Summary: Mfinite Consulting is seeking motivated and physically capable Temporary Warehouse Personnel to support a State of Maryland agency with their warehousing operations. This role involves managing inventory processing shipments and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. Assignments may vary in duration from short-term to long-term.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Receiving Storing and Shipping Products:
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Receiving incoming shipments and verifying against documentation.
- Storing products in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Preparing products for shipping including packing and labeling.
- Order Fulfillment:
- Picking and packing customer orders.
- Scanning bar codes to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Warehouse Maintenance:
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Removing debris and keeping aisles clear.
- Ensuring proper storage of materials and equipment.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Physical Stamina: Able to lift and move boxes and other items of varying weights.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform calculations related to inventory and shipping.
- Forklift Experience (Optional): Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures.
- Statement of ability to work the required schedule and begin on the start date for the temporary assignment.
- Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States (such as an I-9 form).
- Successful completion of a background check that at the States sole discretion and request includes criminal background checks credit checks and employment verification.
- Professional references that can verify work history and skills.
