Job Description
Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Location: Maple Grove MN
Salary: $22.23-$27.37/hour (based on experience)
Shift: 8-hour day shifts 80 hours per 2-week pay period Schedule varies between 7:00 AM-5:30 PM
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical operations and patient care in a busy outpatient clinic. The CMA will work with patients of all ages ensuring smooth workflow and quality care delivery in collaboration with providers and clinic leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care:
- Room patients and assist with provider exams
- Administer injections immunizations and medications
- Perform lab specimen collection and basic lab testing
- Provide prescription refill support and customer communication
- Perform phlebotomy and limited X-ray duties (if certified)
Clinic Support:
- Assist with check-in and front desk functions
- Manage supplies and assist with prior authorizations
- Uphold compliance and confidentiality standards
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Proficiency in basic clinical and clerical tasks
- Strong communication organization and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment
