Job Description
Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Location: Maple Grove MN
Salary: $22.23-$27.37/hour (based on experience)
Shift: 12-hour day shifts 72 hours per 2-week pay period Rotating weekends No on-call
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinic operations and patient care delivery. The CMA will assist with clinical clerical and customer flow tasks in a fast-paced patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care:
- Room patients and assist with exams
- Administer immunizations injections and medications
- Collect lab specimens and perform basic lab tests
- Support prescription refills and customer-provider communication
- Perform phlebotomy and limited X-ray duties if certified
Clinic Support:
- Assist with check-in/front desk support
- Order and stock supplies
- Help with prior authorizations
Compliance & Team Collaboration:
- Follow scope of practice and corporate compliance guidelines
- Communicate with providers nurses and clinic leadership
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal and procedural standards
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Competency in basic clinical skills and willingness to learn new ones
- Effective communication organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team
