Working Shop Foreman
The Working Shop Foremanat Luther Infiniti of Bloomington is a skilled detail-oriented individual responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our automotive shop. This position is a full-time job with top pay and benefits. As an individual contributor the Working Shop Foreman & Quality Control Inspector will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and timely repair of vehicles as well as maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
$25-$70/hour (Incentive-Based)
Responsibilities:
- Work as a production technician with an emphasis on pre-owned vehicle inspections maintenance and repairs.
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the automotive shop including dispatching workflow and repair quality to ensure the shop is meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly production goals.
- Communicate with service advisors and technicians to provide updates on repair statuses and identify any potential issues
- Ensure the shop is following all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with the Parts department to ensure timely and accurate ordering of necessary parts
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and technologies to ensure the shop is using the most efficient and effective methods for repairs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred
- At least 5 years of experience as a dealer automotive technician with previous experience as a shop foreman or lead technician preferred
- ASE certification in several areas (e.g. engine repair brakes electrical) preferred
-A/C certification
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and diagnostic equipment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask problem-solve and make sound decisions under pressure
