Job Description
This position is an undergraduate research assistant position located within the School of Data Science. The Programs Associate will work closely with the Director of Impact and Applied Learning to research and develop content for a series of external learning opportunities for working professionals including workshops webinars and learning communities. The Programs Associate may also assist with writing reports web content and newsletters to share with external stakeholders. The Programs Associate is funded for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The pay rate for this position is $16/hr.

Minimum Requirements:
Education: Current UVA Undergraduate Student
Experience: None
Licensure: None
Physical Demands: This position may require the ability to sit stand walk bend stoop squat climb stairs use fine finger manipulation etc. while conducting observing analyzing and/or recording research data.
Work Location: This position will be primarily remote with some in-person hours required.
Computer Skills: This position requires comfort in working with PowerPoint and Microsoft Word. Curiosity about data science and community partnerships and interest in learning new skills and receiving and incorporating feedback is needed.
