Amazons North American Customer Fulfillment (NACF) Finance is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to be the trusted finance partner located at one of our fulfillment centers supporting operational and functional leaders. Success in Role
You know your business and identify opportunities to decrease cost and/or improve customer and employee experience. You leverage appropriate resources to deep dive and make recommendations and influence leaders. You formulate how to deliver improvements and execute across all fulfillment centers. You play an active role in recruiting and coaching others on your team or other teams.

Key job responsibilities
Business Finance Support:
Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models and analyses with little guidance and draw conclusions and make recommendations that deliver results and drive improvements.
Independently align financial and operational analyses with your business partners challenging business partner assumptions when necessary.
Provide analysis and recommendations to business leaders to support operational and growth business decisions and action plans.
Proactively identify opportunities to resolve finance defects and improve automate standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes across teams and organizations.
Controllership:
Own the financial reporting for a business area and may supervise or teach others in areas of financial reporting.
Identify and solve complex data integrity issues and collaborate with stakeholders on resolution insisting on the highest standards.
Develop and execute data analysis processes that are scalable and auditable.
Communication:
Intuitively utilize active listening skills to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear concise and unambiguous manner adjusting your style based on audience to articulate complex finance issues.
Create effective business partnership with Site Leaders manage competing priorities and provide guidance during unexpected events.
Have backbone and challenge business partner plans and assumptions when needed.
Team Leadership:
Will be the proxy for the Senior Finance Manager when they are not available.

No day in Operations is ever the same! As a Senior Financial Analyst in the North American Customer Fulfillment team you will work in a fast-paced high-energy and ever-changing environment. About the team
This role will partner closely with a broad range of Senior Leaders in Finance Operations Supply Chain Engineering Procurement Accounting HR and Technology. This role plays a critical role as a financial advocate and business partner. This role will design develop and maintain performance measurements and reporting on strategic input drivers to continuously improve the economics of the business.
- 3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- 4 years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
- 4 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 4 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 4 years of identifying leading and executing opportunities to improve automate standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- Bachelors degree in engineering statistics or business or Bachelors degree and 5 years of quantitative role (engineering process re-engineering quality assurance) experience
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
- Experience as a lean sensei or experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer
- 4 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
