About the Role:

The IT Support Officer role is a key support position working across the business and is primarily responsible for working cooperatively with and supporting all stakeholders to ensure that all technology support tasks and functions are carried out to a high standard.

This role is responsible for providing IT technical support for end users as well as providing administrative and technical assistance and working with the Technology team in systems development upgrade and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support system stability and ensure compliance with quality and security standards across the business
  • Manage and action IT support tickets promptly based on task priorities
  • Provide administrative and support to the team with SharePoint and Microsoft 365
  • Handle IT operations including procurement setups provisioning and user support
  • Provide training to team members in general software and hardware use
  • Deliver high quality customer service in all interactions with an effective professional and supportive approach
  • Identify and suggest process improvement for all procedures

About You:

  • Completion of a Bachelor Degree or Certificate IV in Technology
  • Sound understanding of information systems administration tasks and responsibilities
  • Demonstrated understanding of Microsoft platforms and tools including Microsoft 365 and Azure services
  • Understanding of MDM softwares such as Microsoft Intune for device management application packaging and security controls
  • Competency in PowerShell scripting for administrative requirements as well as related Microsoft365 automation tools
  • Knowledge of networking including switching IP routing and enterprise wireless
  • A professional and mature approach to work
  • Enthusiasm passion and a focus for continual improvement
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar or equivalent position
