Wellbeing Support Coordinator (Mental Health) Ipswich & Southern Downs
Full-time Fixed Term Contract to 30 June 2026 (with possible extension)
$32$35 p/h Salary Sacrificing Available
HealthWISE is seeking a compassionate and motivated Support Coordinator to join our Ipswich-based wellbeing team. In this rewarding role youll provide high-intensity support coordination for people living with severe and complex mental illnesshelping them build resilience access services and work towards recovery in a safe and supported way.
This position is ideal for someone with lived experience of mental health recovery or who has supported someone through it and who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.
About the Role:
- Deliver community-based person-centred support
- Develop tailored Safety and Support Plans
- Work collaboratively with clinicians GPs and service providers
- Support clients to navigate the health system and improve social connectedness
- Provide outreach with some travel and overnight stays required
About You:
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Mental Health (or equivalent)
- Personal experience with mental health recovery (own or as a carer)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised flexible and able to manage competing priorities
- Drivers licence Blue Card (WWCC) and National Police Check required
