Facilities Information Management Coordinator
Masters degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelors degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience
Develops modifies and maintains 3D Building Information Models (BIM) and 2D Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) floor plans. Converts existing CAD drawings to Revit.
Conducts routine facility surveys to verify and/or document existing conditions of all University owned or occupied facilities. Surveys include but are not limited to verification of BIM model or CAD floor plan space data occupants other existing conditions. Updates the Space Tracking and Reporting System (UF-STARS) to maintain a timely record of university space. Space information is coded according to the Post-Secondary Educational Facilities Inventory and Classification Manual and the Board of Governors Facilities Space File.
Provide new construction and renovation project support through attending project meetings to verify room numbering and space standards. This includes but is not limited to developmental support and/or review of facilities programs predesign formula/needs analysis (Form B and State Requirements for Educational Facilities compliance) Supplemental Surveys and utilization reporting.
Work with UF entities (CNS Cost Accounting Office of the Registrar Facilities Services departmental contacts etc.) to meet space data requests and ensure an accurate space record.
Perform space analysis and develop presentation materials to support space reassignment recommendations.
Supports required data submissions for the Facilities Space Inventory and other reporting requirements both in print and digital format.
Coordinate and participate in Educational Plant Survey activities as required by Florida statute and Board of Governors policy.

NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE:Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; total hours per week 40
$56000.00 to $60000.00 based on experience.
Masters degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelors degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience
Bachelors degree in architecture construction management or related fields plus at least four years of professional experience in university space planning and management.
Graduate education in architecture construction management or related fields is preferred and may be substituted year for year for a portion of the professional experience.
Effective communication/presentation skills and speaking/writing abilities are essential.
Familiarity with quantitative and computer techniques and procedures policies guidelines of Florida higher education administration is helpful but not required.
