Job Description
The TRU Master of Nursing Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) program utilizes a student-centered supportive teaching approach that encourages students to evolve as autonomous health care providers.
The Clinical Faculty role is foundational to support students in their development of clinical decision-making skills and entry-level NP practice competencies. Clinical Faculty responsibilities include virtually supporting students to prepare for their clinical experience offering ongoing weekly virtual synchronous and asynchronous meetings or activities to support student growth and development and completing midterm and final student appraisals.
Requirements
- PhD (or equivalent) is preferred
- MN-NP qualification is required
- Current NP registration in a Canadian jurisdiction in good standing without limits or conditions and/or eligibility for registration with BCCNM
- Three (3) years full-time or equivalent in the role of a Nurse Practitioner
- Evidence of continuous learning in your area of nursing
- An understanding of and experience in the Canadian healthcare system
