Position: Campus Security Supervisor
Hours: 8 hours per day
Calendar: 188 days per year (August-June)

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
- Must have knowledge of policies and practices of agencies serving youth including school police juvenile court C.S.D family services etc.
- Able to identify possible student involvement in drugs gang activities or other illegal dangerous activities.
- Should have experience with youth and demonstrated an ability to effectively supervise youth.
- Must establish and maintain cooperative relationships with fellow employees the general public and be able to get along well with students while still being willing to hold them accountable for their behavior and choices.
- Ability to make initial inquiries with students into possible violations of GPHS rules and/or District #7 policies while treating students with respect and in a manner that maintains student dignity at all times.
- Willingness and ability to work as a team in establishing and promoting attendance matters.
- Willing and able to serve as the eyes and ears of campus and keep the safety of students and staff of highest priority.
- Willing and able to uphold school and district protocols which could occasionally include confronting problematic behavior of unauthorized guests or those not following school and district protocols.
- Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish preferred.
- Upon selection employees will be required to pay for the following: $12.50 fingerprinting fee and $70 ODE fingerprinting processing fee.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- $20.99-$30.31 per hour (current 2024-2025 pay rates 2025-2026 pay rates contingent on ratification and School Board approval). Dependent on approved accepted experience/education.
- Annual COLA pay increase (as negotiated with Oregon Association of Classified Employees)
- Annual step pay increase awarded to eligible employees
- 6 paid holidays per year
- 2 personal days per year
- 10 paid sick leave days per year
- Bereavement leave as per bargaining agreement
- Continuing Education Funds up to $1000 per year
- Up to $1522 per month district-paid contribution toward full-family medical dental and vision insurance
- $4251 per year insurance opt-out stipend for employees who demonstrate other health insurance coverage under a qualifying employer sponsored group medical plan (more than 6-hour employees) $3825.90 (46-hour employees)
- 6% employee paid contribution towards Oregon Public Employees Retirement System
- Longevity Service Stipend after 10 years of employment ($800-$1400)
