The Sales Operations team is looking for a self-starter Data Analyst.In this role analysts will be expected to learn essential business functions develop key metrics and deliver analyses and reporting that contribute to business decisions across the organization. Team members will be required to work cross-functionally with management analysts developers and product teams to meet objectives and deliver actionable insights to the business. As an integral member of our team you will be responsible for creating the overarching data and reporting strategy to support the management and optimization of the sales function and assist in improving the operations and decision-making of our business. An ideal candidate will possess strong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities in addition to strong mathematical analytical and data modeling ability to manipulate large complex data sets into manageable understandable reports. Excellent problem-solving communication and team-working skills. You should be flexible and able to work independently or in a team.This position is in office Monday through Friday.
Job Responsibilities:
Design/build reports create models and analyses to identify trends and improve existing business processes
Build and maintain critical dashboards reports and presentations that enable key leaders to understand interpret and make decisions quickly
Leverage a data first approach to identify critical business trends to deliver both insights and specific actionable recommendations to the business
Dive into both quantitative and qualitative data to understand and prioritize strategic opportunities with regional sales leadership
Utilize multiple data sources (primarily MS/T-SQL) build datasets and perform ad hoc analyses that drive actionable insights for the business
Partner across departments to identify key information gaps and plans to provide or obtain that information
Identifies communicates and resolves data quality and data reconciliation issues
Serve in a consultative role with client to advise on best practices where appropriate
Basic Qualifications:
3 years in Business Intelligence and analytics experience.
3 years of Power BI visualization and development
5 years SQL Server experience including query writing dataset creation; analytical programming experience
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to analyze data interpret information and trends in large amounts of data to develop actionable recommendations
Ability to work on multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously and quickly adapt as business evolves and objectives change
Proven proactive self-starter with the ability to work both as an individual and within a team to resolve issues create new approaches to analyzing data and drive decisions and consensus within the business.
Familiarity with data modeling software and Excel software
A track recordofcommitmenttoprior employers.
Bachelors degree required from an accredited not-for-profit University or College.
