POSITION SUMMARY:
- The Student Systems Administrator is responsible for coordinating and supporting a range of district-level student services aimed at ensuring equitable access safety and success for all students. This position serves as the districts Title IX Coordinator Section 504 Coordinator and primary liaison for community-based student support services. The Student Systems Administrator leads initiatives focused on dropout prevention chronic absenteeism and reengagement of at-risk youth including those involved in the juvenile justice system including work to facilitate the progressional growth of teachers who serve these students In partnership with schools families and outside agencies the position ensures the effective implementation of student support systems across K12 settings. The role also oversees district-level processes related to adjudicated youth sex offender notifications and intensive juvenile treatment programming contributing to a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Student Systems Administrator:
- Oversees district compliance with Title IX regulations including the investigation and resolution of complaints training of staff and implementation of supportive measures for students and staff. *
- Facilitates consistent and effective implementation of academic behavioral and wellness supports across all K12 grade levels working closely with building administrators and student services personnel. *
- Facilitates large group. small group and individual professional development activities that target at-risk students and those on non-traditional academic pathways.
- Ensures compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act by overseeing evaluations developing and reviewing student accommodation plans and supporting staff in plan implementation. *
- Acts as the primary contact for community agencies social services and external partners supporting student well-being safety and educational engagement. *
- Identifies students at risk of dropping out and coordinate district-wide interventions to improve retention including collaboration with schools families and external service providers. *
- Coordinates with law enforcement to receive and disseminate sex offender notifications in accordance with state law and district policy ensuring appropriate awareness and protective measures. *
- Develops and implements systems to identify at-risk students and coordinate timely academic behavioral and attendance interventions in collaboration with school-based teams. *
- Leads efforts to monitor and address chronic absenteeism develop improvement plans and support schools in implementing effective attendance practices and student engagement strategies. *
- Coordinates transition and support services for adjudicated youth re-entering district schools ensuring access to academic and wraparound services that promote success. *
- Serves as the district liaison for students participating in intensive juvenile treatment programs maintaining academic continuity and collaboration with treatment providers and families.
- Coordinates with child welfare agencies to support students in foster care including school stability transportation and timely records transfer. *
- Oversees the collection analysis and reporting of student-level data related to Title IX 504 attendance behavior and intervention outcomes; use data to drive decision-making. *
- Coordinates and supports alternative pathways and programs (credit recovery online learning night school) that help meet the needs of students who are disengaged or off track. *

- Participates in professional growth (such as professional organizations coursework workshops and conferences) and other professional activities (such as school and/or District committees taskforces in-depth studies or councils). *
- Demonstrates a sense of professional responsibility such as demonstrating ethical behavior; providing accurate data and reports when needed; meeting deadlines; maintaining confidentiality; caring for the equipment and materials; and dressing appropriately; exhibiting sensitivity to those with special needs; maintaining good professional relationships with parents and community members; and presenting a good role model. *

SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Strong knowledge of federal and state laws related to Title IX Section 504 student privacy and attendance; demonstrated ability to design implement and monitor student support systems that address dropout prevention chronic absenteeism and reentry for adjudicated youth; ability to communicate effectively and build positive collaborative relationships with students families staff and community agencies; knowledge of best practices in serving at-risk student populations including trauma-informed approaches and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS); ability to analyze student data to guide interventions and track program outcomes; strong organizational and time management skills; ability to facilitate effective meetings and interagency collaboration; and skill in conflict resolution consensus-building and problem-solving in sensitive or complex student matters.
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Masters Degree in education counseling social work school psychology or a related field.
Preferred: Licensure or certification in one or more of the following areas is strongly preferred: at-risk students school administration school counseling school psychology or special education. Additional training or certification in Title IX compliance section 504 law trauma-informed care or MTSS framework is highly desirable.
Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a K-12 educational environment including educational leadership roles.
