Sharpsmart Marketing team is expanding and we are looking for an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join us! We are looking for someone with a passion for marketing digital media and creative pursuits were looking for a marketing all-rounder! Our ideal candidate is capable of managing multiple projects/touch-points at once clearly communicating with internal and external stakeholders and intelligently navigating stakeholder requests. As a brand-focused team we are looking for someone with a bit of creative flair that can uphold our marketing excellence across our internal and external interactions. As long as you have logical project management skills strong scoping ability and figure-it-out confidence we can teach the technical skills.
We would the successful candidate to work from our Kent office one day per week but the rest of the week can be worked from your home office.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee Google My Business and Bing listing management content calendar and work with internal stakeholders to execute updates and drive review initiatives
Manage Sharpsmart and Hazport social media channels (X (Twitter) LinkedIn and Facebook) working with the marketing team to curate organic social content.
Drive community building initiatives and engage with customers and the market place through social media platforms.
Support in the execution of SEO initiatives across the Sharpsmart and Hazport websites including content development audits and technical updates.
Share general administration duties with the Marketing such as raising purchase orders.
Marketing inbox management / project scoping assessing resource needs interfacing with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and scoping timelines.
Support the marketing team and stakeholders across the Commercial function to coordinate and manage attendance at exhibitions conferences and webinars.
Coordinate and manage video and photoshoots.
Assist the sales team in ordering promotional materials and other essentials for events and exhibitions.
Candidate Profile
2 years of marketing advertising or relevant experience
Social media management
Social community building is advantageous
On page and technical SEO experience is advantageous
Experience in managing attendance at conferences exhibitions and webinars is desirable.
Experience in managing photo and video shoots.
Writing and authoring skills is advantageous
Wordpress CMS experience
Strong interpersonal skills
High attention to detail
Confidence to self-initiate and spearhead marketing ideas or efficiencies
Strong competency in time-management and accountability to deadlines
Ability to project plan and hold internal and external stakeholders to deadlines and outcomes
Basic design proficiency in executing marketing projects against brand guidelines
Skilled in working effectively with cross-functional teams
