  • 27711 per annum pro rata three days per week Term Time only
  • 22.2 hours per week - Flexible working options available
  • Fixed term for three years

Reimagine the possibilities

Your role and responsibilities

You will:

  • promote the embedding of all elements of the Suffolk Inclusion Toolkit within our education providers in Suffolk with a specific focus on supporting schools to embed VSEND (Valued SEND) within their provision
  • work closely with the Project Manager (SEND) to develop useful resources and digital support tools to help schools on their journey
  • deliver bespoke support to schools on their VSEND journey supporting the embedding of all elements of the Suffolk Inclusion Toolkit developing resources and being part of gaining impact to inform the future offer.

You will need:

  • a passion for inclusion and experience or understanding of the current priorities and challenges experienced by colleagues in educational settings.
  • VSEND is a digital platform and youll bring excitement to build your technical skills and to develop insights into VSENDs potential.
  • excellent interpersonal skills. The successful embedding of the whole Suffolk Inclusion Toolkit within schools is based upon forming positive and supportive relationships with our school leaders
  • to be well organised as day to day youll be working with a large number of different schools so the ability to prioritise your diary and good administrative skills are essential.

The team

Whilst your work will predominantly be alongside the Project Manager (SEND) youll be welcomed into a much wider team working within the Psychology and Therapeutic Service and alongside our Specialist Education Services.

We are incredibly passionate about promoting inclusion and supporting schools with the tools to be able to maintain this ethos. The role will provide extensive opportunities to learn more about and connect with the wider services of Suffolk County Council.
