Consistent with thestrategic priorities of the Acero Schools the Operations Project Administratormanages key business operations for Acero Schools including organizationalstrategy compliance policy development business performance managementnetwork growth facilities information technology (IT) and school operationsin a time-sensitive and changing environment.
Thisrole will also support overseeing asset protection and management and ensureproper compliance with all public and private grant reporting.
CoreResponsibilities
- Guides the development and implementation of protocols andcontrols to ensure compliance and adherence to all Acero Schools policies.
- Monitors risk management for Acero Schools including butnot limited to IT compliance and communications and advises the COO on thesematters and best practices.
- Understands clearly how each administrative decision impactsthe quality of education delivered at Acero Schools and can serve as an advisorand thought partner to staff on possible impacts.
- Supports IT and the development of long-term infrastructureimprovement plans.
- Supports and coaches team to oversee the day-to-dayadministrative operations of Acero.
- Provides world-class customer service to internal andexternal partners.
- Is responsible for implementing supports to improve teams overallquality of performance and customer service by collecting and analyzing serviceperformance and customer satisfaction data and setting and achievingcontinuous improvement goals.
- Under the direction of the COO and in partnership with theSenior Analyst Business Performance Management supports the ongoingoperations of the organizations performance management and KPIs.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Public Administration LawFinance or closely related field (required) Masters of BusinessAdministration (preferred)
- Atleast ten years of progressively increasing administrative managementexperience in the context of a growing organization or business includingmanagement in at least one of the functional domains this role oversees(preferred)
- Considerable knowledge of principles of management analysis(such as spend analysis and cooperative purchasing) contracts and organizationdesign necessary to formulate and implement contract administration practices
- Considerable knowledge of available information systemtechnologies which enhance business practices
- Considerable knowledge of construction contracting withexperience planning sourcing and contract administration of multi-milliondollar multi-year contracts towards programs of capital construction andcapital maintenance
- Comprehensive knowledge of laws policies and proceduresgoverning public procurement
- Previous experience in education and/or nonprofit (stronglypreferred)
- Evidence of successful implementation of new processes andsystems with limited direction
- Ability to work collaboratively with CEO executiveleadership team Principals and other staff
- Proven track record of creating and implementing innovativesolutions to meet organizational needs
- Ability to create and build systems and processes tostreamline administrative functions
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentationskills
- Demonstration of sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced high-energyenvironment with a proven ability to multi-task to complete numerous projectson a variety of timelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with theability to anticipate problems and utilize data analysis to create innovativesolutions

Physical Demands
The nature of the work requiresan ability to operate standard business office equipment and the ability tocommunicate and exchange information collect compile and prepare workdocuments set-up and maintain work files. Physical demands include the abilityto stand bend reach high and low stoop and walk around the classroom 60% ofthe day. In addition candidates must be able to lift and/or push and pull 15to 20lbs for short periods of time and walk up and down stairs several times aday.
Working Conditions
Majority of work is performed ina general office environment. Position requires availability for extended hoursplus non-traditional hours required to perform job duties. Also requiresparticipation and attendance at organization-sponsored events and meetings.
