Notes:
- Remote but MUST report onsite for four days of training (client will not provide any expenses)
- Need AlloCAP software configurations/settings experience Medicaid experience is mandatory
Job Description:
The end-client is seeking a contractor with 5 years of experience in the following areas:
- Medicaid Cost Allocation Plan (CAP) methodologies and application
- Federal administrative cost claiming
- Federal regulations including:
- 2 CFR 200 Uniform Administrative Requirements
- Cost Principles
- Audit Requirements for Federal Awards
- Updating AlloCAP software configurations and settings
Responsibilities include:
- Review CAP submissions to ensure federal compliance including drafting CAP narrative edits (1 2 CAPs submitted per year)
- Identify opportunities to increase federal funding and modify software configurations accordingly
- Assist with cost impact calculations for CAP updates
- Support the Comptroller in responding to Cost Allocation Services and CMS inquiries
- Conduct at least four (4) hours of onsite annual training on current Medicaid cost allocation principles
- Provide guidance to Senior Leadership on the applicability of cost allocation and administrative claiming principles for proposed programs or projects
- Perform updates to AlloCAP to improve usability and issue identification
- Update AlloCAP in response to state administrative system changes (e.g. MAGIC SPAHRS Workday)
