Job Description
Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery (LDRP)
Location: Athena Medtech
Department: Labor & Delivery
Shift: Night Shift 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Schedule: Monday Friday (3 Days/12-Hour Shifts)
Weekly Hours: 36 Hours
Athena Medtech is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery (LDRP) unit. This role is ideal for a compassionate patient-focused RN with strong clinical skills and a passion for maternal-child health. You will play a key role in providing safe high-quality care to mothers and newborns through all phases of labor delivery recovery and postpartum.
Key Responsibilities:-
Develop implement and monitor individualized patient care plans.

Observe assess and document patient condition and progress.

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

Execute physician and nursing orders accurately and promptly.

Participate in discharge planning and patient education.

Minimum of 1 year of LDRP experience required

Current and valid RN license in good standing

Certifications required:
-
Basic Life Support (BLS)
-
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Proficient in labor and delivery protocols
-
Experience working in traveler RN roles (a plus)

Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced patient-centered environment
