Job Description
Role: Backend Software Engineer (.net)
Location: Toronto / GTA ON (Onsite from Day 1)
Job Type: Contract
Must Have Skills:
- Proficiency in .NET framework and C# programming languages including API development web services.
- Application development on IIS.
- Strong Experience with SQL for database management and data manipulation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms for deploying and managing applications.
- Familiarity with event driven architecture.
- Understanding of microservices architecture for building scalable and maintainable applications.
- Knowledge of software development tools like Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills to assess and improve backend processes and systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD using Jenkins
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues.
Good to have Skills:
- Microsoft SQL Azure SQL
- Azure Cloud (AKS Service Bus Redis ADX)
- Observability: New Relic.
- Knowledge of Insurance domain
