Job Description
Job Title: SAP PPDS Functional Consultant
Location: San Francisco CA (Remote with occasional travel expenses covered)
Duration: / Term: 04 months Contract

Qualification:
We are seeking a seasoned SAP PPDS Functional Analyst to support a critical implementation project. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in SAP SCM APO Production Planning Detailed Scheduling (PPDS) with proven experience configuring systems leading workshops and delivering business solutions in a complex manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to PPDS.
- Configure SAP PPDS modules to deliver optimal planning and scheduling solutions.
- Write Functional Design (FD) documents for custom developments.
- Coordinate and execute Functional Unit Testing (FUT) System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Develop and implement cutover plans to ensure a smooth transition to the production environment.
- Provide post-go-live hypercare support to ensure system stability and user satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align solutions with business goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP PPDS implementation.
- Strong understanding of SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Advanced Planning & Optimization (APO) tools.
- Experience writing FDs and coordinating with ABAP teams.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and planning strategies.
- Ability to work independently and lead configuration activities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with SAP PP (Production Planning) module.
- Familiarity with S/4HANA integration and roadmap planning.
