Job Description

International tax and transfer pricing compliance for US and foreign subsidiaries

This Sr Tax Manager International position reports to Sr Tax Director.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Manage international subsidiaries income tax VAT withholding tax local tax returns
  • Prepares/reviews worldwide tax provision G/L reconciliation tax reserves forecasts valuation
  • Manage tax audits for international subsidiaries as needed
  • Manage transfer pricing issues agreements review and documentation
  • Manage VAT exemptions and credits validation system management
  • Manage R&D tax credit calculation application with consultants
  • Prepare/review Pillar II tax calculation and support to parent
  • Contract reviews and advisory with respect to tax provision
  • ERP validation and updates implementation for tax related modules
  • Prepare/review fixed assets tax depreciation
  • Prepare/review stock based DTA reconciliation as needed
  • Prepare PPA adjustments and reconciliation
  • Prepare/review transfer pricing adjustments and identify issues
  • Lead geo strategies and evaluation to support global expansion
  • Close inactive entities with tax authorities
  • Monitor and support tax incentives in foreign subsidiaries as needed
  • Support tax aspects of any special projects as needed

Qualifications :

Minimum qualifications and experience:

  • At least 10 years professional corporate tax experience in big 4 accounting firms and public hi-tech companies with international tax and transfer pricing background
  • Professional proficiency in English
  • Bachelor degree preferably in Accounting/Tax
  • CPA license preferred
  • Flexibility to work with team members at different time zones around the world
  • Ability to work effectively with different team members to resolve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle tax audits and issues independently
  • Attention to details to ensure work quality and prioritize to meet various deadlines
  • Ability to perform hands on work with or without staff support


Additional Information :

For California Colorado New York Washington and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $125280 to $215850. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills experience qualifications and geographic location.
