Packer - AutoStore

Position Summary:

The Packer AutoStore is responsible for accurately picking packing and labeling outbound customer orders using the AutoStore system. This role ensures compliance with company policies and shipping regulations while maintaining high standards of quality accuracy and safety. The position requires attention to detail physical endurance and a strong sense of teamwork. Regular attendance and overtime availability are essential to meet business demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick pack and label items for shipment using the AutoStore system.

• Prepare UPS and LTL orders in compliance with company and shipping regulations.

• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and prevent shipment errors.

• Manifest and label orders accurately for parcel shipping.

• Stack completed orders in designated staging areas for outbound shipment.

• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate workflow and maintain safety.

• Follow standard operating procedures related to picking packing and material handling.

• Participate in cross-training for order processing and fulfillment tasks.

• Follow all company policies including safety protocols and 5S practices.

• Report discrepancies or issues promptly to the Warehouse Supervisor.

• Maintain a clean and organized packing area at all times.

Qualifications :

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Ability to read write speak and understand English.

• Basic computer skills and ability to operate handheld RF scanners.

• Proficient in basic math; must be able to pass a skills assessment.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and perform repetitive physical tasks.

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks priorities and schedules.

• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.

• Prior warehouse packing or shipping experience is preferred but not required.

Work Environment:
The work is performed in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution setting with frequent exposure to varying temperatures moderate noise levels and moving equipment. This position requires standing walking lifting and bending for extended periods. Team members must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to all safety protocols. The environment supports a team-based culture focused on productivity quality and continuous improvement. Overtime and schedule flexibility may be required based on business needs.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $18.11-$21.20 per hour. Within the range individual pay is determined based on several factors including but not limited to work experience and job knowledge complexity of the role job location etc.
