Job Description
Picking and Packing:
- Locate and retrieve parts from shelves or bins based on customer orders.
- Ensure the correct quantity and type of parts are selected.
- Pack parts securely in appropriate containers such as boxes or crates.
- Use packing materials like tape bubble wrap or padding to protect the parts during transit.
Labeling and Shipping:
- Attach labels with accurate shipping information including customer addresses and order details.
- Prepare parts for shipment by loading them onto pallets trucks or conveyors.
- Verify that all orders are accurate and complete before shipment.
Warehouse Operations:
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist with inventory management such as stocking shelves and bins.
- May be required to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
Other Duties:
- May be responsible for receiving and unloading incoming shipments.
- May assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
